Tom Hiddleston: Best Villain MTV Nod ‘Very Gratifying’ (x)

Speaking to MTV News on the red carpet of this year’s Empire Awards, Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the Thor and Avengers parts of the Marvel franchise, revealed: “It means so much truly because I grew up with MTV, I guess I’m the MTV generation.”

“I’ve always loved it and I have many friends at MTV this side of the Atlantic and on the other side and it’s just very, very gratifying to be appreciated in any capacity as an actor.”

Of his fellow Best Villain nominees he added: “I’m up against some of my favourite actors in the world. I’m up against Xavier Bardem in Skyfall, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy and Leonardo DiCaprio so I feel like I’m in very esteemed company.”
